[Movies] Will Burton Direct Dark Shadows?

Sam Sarkar, director of development for Johnny Depp's production company Infinitum, recently told MTV that the big-screen version of the classic TV show, Dark Shadows, is moving forward with Johnny Depp in the lead, but wouldn't confirm or deny if Tim Burton would direct.
Deadline Hollywood Daily adds that the start date for the film is having to be postponed so that Burton can finish up his version of Alice in Wonderland. The problem is that Warner has already reserved studio space to shoot Dark Shadows in the fall.
i remember my mom use to watch the reruns of this show on sci-fi when i was a kid... this show is so cool and was clearly way ahead of its time back in the 60's or 70's whatever it was and im sure this movie is gonna be just that as well... i just hope they keep the original theme song
